Lake Bomoseen Association
Board of Directors 2025
Directors
President: Bridget McIntyre
Originally from Indiana, Bridget was introduced to Lake Bomoseen over 15 years ago by her husband, Colin—a Rutland native whose family has had a home on the lake for generations. After relocating from Los Angeles to Brooklyn and welcoming their son seven years ago, Bridget and Colin began spending more time at the lake and building a strong sense of community here. Bridget joined the LBA board to help preserve the beauty and health of Lake Bomoseen—priorities she holds dear as she raises the next generation of lake lovers. Before shifting her focus to raising her son, she worked in sales and marketing.
Vice President: Liz Bird
Liz grew up in Rutland and spent many summers at Lake Bomoseen. Years later, she and her husband continued the tradition by bringing their three sons to the lake. In 2007, they built a home on the east side, where they now enjoy time in every season. “Being part of the LBA has been both a pleasure and a deeply rewarding experience. I’ve learnedso much and met so many wonderful people in the community.”
Secretary: Lisa Beroud
Lisa lives in Los Angeles with her partner Bill Comstock and has been working (very slowly) on a restoration of the St Mary’s Church on Lake Bomoseen, which she purchased in 2017. She has been coming to the Lake since her teens, and the area is very special to her. Joining the LBA board in 2022 opened her eyes to the many issues affecting lake health. She is motivated to learn more and to help improve the future health of Vermont’s lakes and watersheds through her board positions with the LBA and FOVLAP.
Treasurer: Rob Mealey
Rob is a retired business executive. Rob and his family first discovered Lake Bomoseen over 30 years ago it’s been a part of their lives ever since. He enjoys all the Lake has to offer, in all seasons, and is deeply invested in helping to ensure its well-being.
